Linear regulator chip (LDO)
顾名思义，Buck型降压开关稳压器是指输入电压高于输出电压。在Buck电路中，只有一个功率管就是非同步式的，非同步式是靠二极管的续流来完成上图绿色区域部分。同步式整流是有两个功率管一般称之为上管和下管，这两个管由逻辑器控制，同一时刻只有一个管处于导通状态。对于同步与非同步结构来说是不同的，非同步结构中使用二极管续流可以防止电感电流方向不会降到０以下。对于同步结构，使用ＭOS管来替代二级管，MOS管可以允许电感电流反向即从负载流出电流，导致电感电流在０以下。
